In 2025, we proudly made this commitment to more sustainable tourism and dining official by obtaining the international Green Key certificate!
The Green Key certificate, which was developed in 1998, is an assurance that we take sustainability seriously. It certifies that we have strong environmental commitments based on strict criteria established at an international level by the Foundation for Environmental Education, which is represented in France by the organisation Teragir. These criteria are reviewed every four years to take into account technological progress and environmental issues.
Greek Key requires us to apply an environmental policy and a socially responsible approach that include effective waste management, energy and water saving measures, responsible procurement and constant guest education. The certification system involves regular audits and evidence gathering to confirm the commitment of establishments that have the certification.
In 2025, 2428 establishments in France hold the French Green Key certificate, the Clef Vert. There are also Green Key programmes in 76 other countries around the world.
💡Let there be light! All the lights in your room are fitted with LED light bulbs that use very little electricity while still producing plenty of light.
💧You can keep singing in the shower under the light-up HYDRAO shower head. This smart shower head shows you how much water you are using in real time and makes saving water fun. You can choose from three types of jet – rain, massage and mist – for a customised shower experience and optimal comfort.
The shower head contains aerators to reduce the flow of water. The toilet flushes have also been optimised to save water and make them more efficient.
🫧Clean as a whistle! The complimentary products we provide come in large packaging, which significantly reduces the amount of rubbish produced.
⚡Oops! Forgot to switch the light off before you left? There’s no need to worry. The light will automatically switch off a few seconds after you leave so no energy is wasted unnecessarily.
🧽Sparkling clean. Your room is thoroughly cleaned with eco-friendly cleaning products that are much better for your health, the health of our staff and, of course, the planet
🛏️Staying for a few days? We won’t automatically change your bedding and towels every day (unless you ask us to).
♻️Each to their own. We provide separate rubbish and recycling bins for different types of waste to make sorting rubbish easier.
🥐It is a point of honour for us to offer you high-quality products that are locally produced or organic wherever possible.

🗑️To cut down on the amount of rubbish we generate, we significantly limit the number of individually wrapped products we use. To limit food waste we invite our guests to refill their plates as many times as they like once nothing is left on their plates!

🥕Just like our breakfasts, in our restaurant we prioritise local products that are responsibly produced and in season. Everything is cooked on site by Chef Frédéric and his sidekick Gilles.
♻️ We sort our rubbish into different bins in the kitchen too! When possible, we carefully separate out all our rubbish so as much of it can be recycled as possible.
